This advanced barista course is for those who want to dive deeper into the principles behind coffee preparation and build the skills required to produced consistently exceptional coffee.

Suitable for those already working in the coffee industry wanting to progress in their role, seasoned professionals seeking to gain specific advanced skills and knowledge, or any “coffee geeks” who love to learn the how’s and why’s behind their passion.

This course will be adapted to suit each individual’s needs and skill levels, covering what is relevant and important to you.

Course content:

• Espresso recipes
• Espresso extraction theory
• Understanding under, over, and ideal extraction
• Understanding roast profiles and their effect on espresso extraction
• Sensory training
• How to get the best out of your equipment

When — This class is able to operate anytime between 2pm and 7pm, 7 days a week. You are able to add your date and time preference when booking, and we will be in touch to confirm your course. Please keep in mind we will do our best to endeavor to meet your needs.

What to wear — Comfortable clothing and enclosed footwear.

Group Bookings — 4 people for $450 (20% discount) .
One-on-one training available at $200 for 3 hour session.
Single-attendant spaces are $150.

Cancellations — we offer to exchange, refund, or transfer your course booking if notice is given at least 72 hours prior to the course commencing.

We are unable to offer exchange, refund, or transfer your booking if you fail to attend or give notice within this 72hr period.
