Filter Coffee Master Class
Brewing filter coffee is one of the most simple, accessible, and cost effective ways to make delicious coffee and it can be a whole lot of fun too.
During this course we will unpack the theoretical knowledge and practical skills required to brew consistently delicious coffee at home, the office, in your cafe or when travelling.
We are able to cover the entire spectrum of brewing equipment and techniques or can focus solely on your preferred brew method, such as Aeropress, Pour Over, Batch Brew, or French Press. The choice is all yours.
Course content:
Filter coffee extraction theory
Familiarisation with brewing equipment options and understanding their strengths and weakness
Understanding the variables that effect flavour and how to control them
Understanding roast profiles and their effect on filter coffee extraction
Sensory training
Demonstrations and practice time
What’s included:
Hands on experience using a wide range of brewing equipment
Take home course notes and workbook
Unlimited beans to practice with during class
Unlimited coffee to drink during class
Certificate of completion to add to resume
10% off retail brewing equipment and coffee beans
10% off refer a friend voucher
When — This class is able to operate anytime between 2pm and 7pm, 7 days a week. You are able to add your date and time preference when booking, and we will be in touch to confirm your course.
Duration — 2 hours
Class size — 2 to 4 people
What To Wear — comfortable clothing and enclosed footwear.
Location — 1/10 Beerburrum Street, Dicky Beach, Sunshine Coast, Queensland.
Group Bookings — 4 people for $450 (25% discount).
One-on-one training available at $200 for 2 hour session.
Single-attendant spaces are $150.
Cancellations — we offer to exchange, refund, or transfer your course booking if notice is given at least 72 hours prior to the course commencing.
