Single Origin Beans — Guatemala - Finca La Bella Pacamara - Natural

A$26.00

BURSTING WITH TROPICAL FRUIT FLAVOURS COMPLIMENTED BY VANILLA FLORALS. WELL FERMENTED, CLEAN, JUICY, & COMPLEX.

Finca La Bella Estate has gained global acclaim for its exceptional coffee, featured multiple times in the cup of excellence.

located in the Sierra de Las Minas, Nuevo Oriente is one of the oldest and lesser known coffee growing regions in Guatemala, located to the northeast of Guatemala City. The towering mountains hold deposits of jade and marble and, excellent soil for coffee production. The climate is subtropical and the mountains are blanketed with forests that provide shade for the coffee trees, as well as habitats for numerous native species.

What was once one of the poorest and most isolated regions of Guatemala is now vibrant and continues to grow. The volcanic soil is nutrient rich and the area receives ample rainfall and a good number of cloudy days to help slow drying.

The Institute for Coffee Research (ISIC) created the Pacamara hybrid in El Salvador in the 1950s. The variety is a cross of Pacas (a Bourbon mutation) and Maragogype. Pacamara is relatively short with high productivity and is prized for its large cherries. Maragogype is a natural mutation of Typica that’s known for especially large beans. Pacamara's name comes from the first 4 letters of each parent.

250g unground beans. Available for either filter or espresso. Because we have a rotating selection of amazing single origin beans on offer, please note that your order may arrive in slightly different packaging to that pictured. Your coffee, however, will be as described (and delicious!)
